Cruising

Not into racing? Not to fear–let’s just sail.

While we have a very active racing program, many of our members just enjoy spending time on the water at their leisure. Our club’s location on Hoover reservoir offers a three mile stretch between the bridges that is perfect for enjoying a leisurely sail with minimal motorboat traffic.

As a club member, you can sail when you want to sail. The clubhouse and grounds are a great place to bring your family and friends for a picnic after a day cruising the lake. The porch offers amazing sunset views over the lake. A great way to end your day.

Social events are scheduled throughout the season. These fun events are the perfect forum to find like-minded friends.
